WaterSmart Letters
Twice a year, during high-demand months, we mail customers WaterSmart Neighbor Comparison Letters. These Letters compare a customer’s water usage to their neighbors, and have proven to reduce overall consumption by 5%. Keep an eye out for yours and help us conserve this vital resource for everyone.
Conservation Landscape Classes
Suburban Water Systems has been hosting classes each year since 2010. Instructors cover topics such as the selection of native and drought resistant plants, irrigation, and water conservation tips. We offer 4 to 5 classes per year.

Rebates
Water Saving Rebates are available for residential and commercial customers. These rebates apply to the purchase of items such as toilets, clothes washers, and irrigation equipment. You will need your account number to apply for residential rebates. This can be found on your Suburban bill.

Plumbing Leak Reimbursement Program
Customers who have recently repaired a water leak in their home may be eligible for reimbursement through the Suburban Water Systems Leak Reimbursement Program. By submitting a copy of a paid plumbing invoice, qualifying customers can receive up to $500 in reimbursement.
This program is designed to help offset the cost of unexpected leak repairs, reduce the financial impact on your water bill, and promote water conservation throughout our community. Call Suburban to learn more.
- It applies to residential customers only.
- Eligibility is limited to one application per customer.
- The program is for water leak repairs on indoor plumbing systems; sewer repairs are excluded.
- Proof of repairs or plumbers’ invoice must be dated within 60 days of the repair.
FREE Commercial Water Use Surveys
Metropolitan Water District (MWD), in partnership with WaterWise Consulting, is accepting applications for FREE Commercial Water Use Surveys. These virtual and in-person surveys provide commercial customers with recommendations to improve outdoor landscape and indoor water use efficiency. Kids Corner
Check out our Water 101 Kids Corner for fun and educational water-related experiments. Younger children will also enjoy giving water conservation a splash of color, with help from "Splashy", our water conservation friend.
