We Celebrate 35th Annual Operation Gobble

Covina, CA — November 24, 2025 — Suburban Water Systems proudly celebrated its 35th annual Operation Gobble, partnering with local county and state elected officials to distribute more than 1,200 turkeys to non-profit organizations in eastern Los Angeles County. The program supports families in need in our service area to have a meaningful and nourishing Thanksgiving holiday.

Operation Gobble is a long-standing philanthropic collaboration between Suburban and local elected officials. Together, they provide holiday turkeys to financially disadvantaged families through trusted community-based organizations, including food banks, senior centers, youth homes, churches, YMCAs, and other service partners.

“Suburban is honored to continue this annual program as part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the communities we serve,” said Craig Gott, President of Suburban Water Systems. “We are grateful for the dedication of our local non-profit partners, who work tirelessly to bring a bountiful holiday meal to thousands of families. We also appreciate the steadfast community care and leadership provided by our legislators and County Supervisors.”

This year, Suburban partnered with Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis, Senator Bob Archuleta, Senator Susan Rubio, Assemblymember Blanca Rubio, Assembly Member Blanca Pacheco, and Assemblymember Lisa Calderon. With their guidance, Suburban selected non-profit organizations within their districts to receive the holiday turkeys, helping ensure resources reached families most in need.

Operation Gobble highlights Suburban’s decades-long commitment to community engagement and support, reinforcing the company’s mission to serve as a reliable community partner beyond water service.
