Mitchell County Customers:
As part of our lead and copper monitoring requirements, we collected 10 water samples between June 2026 and September 2026 in the Mitchell County water system. Results of these tests indicated that 3 samples of those collected, exceeded the action level for lead. Please note that these results are specific to each of the sites tested. We are required by state and federal regulations to issue a drinking water notice to customers within the Mitchell County water system.
