In 2025, Texas Water Utilities (formerly Corix Texas) invested approximately $17.1M to support continued reliable service.

Did you know?

Water and wastewater infrastructure is the backbone of a healthy community. We rely on our infrastructure systems to deliver the safe, reliable water and wastewater services we depend on each day.

Throughout the country, many of these systems are aging and in need of repair, rehabilitation and replacement. They require ongoing investment to maintain safe and reliable operations.

At Texas Water Utilities, we work hard to upgrade our local systems so our customers can continue to trust the service we deliver now and in the future. Our customers support these important investments by paying their bills.

2025 investments include, among others, the following:

  • Installing wastewater collection pipelines to support current and future growth needs in the City of Bastrop.

  • Constructing a new wastewater treatment plant and a lift station with ultraviolet disinfection to replace chlorine gas and aims at enhancing safety and operational efficiency in Canyon Ranch.

  • Upgrading the Lometa water treatment plant to support current and future growth.

  • Expanded and upgraded the McKinney Rough water treatment plant, including technology improvement.

  • Designing and developing a new wastewater treatment plant in Camp Swift to support current and future growth needs.

  • Replacing three water mains under Lake Colorado City to reduce frequent costly repairs and outages.

  • Replacement of the membrane system at Stony Point wastewater plant to ensure effective water treatment and filtration.
