Notice of Water System Improvements
Utilities Inc. of Louisiana is currently performing infrastructure and distribution improvements in your area. As part of this work, we will be drilling a new 2,000' deep water production well and installing a new 200,000-gallon water storage tank with updated pumping equipment capable of producing over 1,000 gallons per minute.
This new well site will enhance water capacity and production throughout the Woodridge system, creating redundancy to reduce future service interruptions.
Construction is expected to run from July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. During this time, you may notice loud noises, light intrusion, and, at times, temporary water outages, discoloration, or reduced water pressure. Water will remain safe to drink throughout construction, even if discoloration occurs. If discoloration occurs, we recommend running your tap for a few minutes before use.
