Dear Valued Customer,
We’re writing to inform you that Bermuda Water Company (BWC) has filed a rate change request with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) to adjust our water service rates. This filing is part of our commitment to maintaining reliable, high-quality water service while responsibly managing infrastructure investments and operating costs.
The proposed rate adjustment reflects an increase of approximately 5.3% for residential customers. For a residential customer using 6,931 gallons per month, this translates to an increase of $2.37 per month, from $42.95 to $45.24.
Please note: If approved by the ACC, the new rates will not go into effect approximately third quarter 2026. Click Here to Open the Full Public Notice
Since our last rate case, BWC has completed several major capital projects to improve service reliability and system efficiency. These include:
Installing five new generators at our wells and Booster Station to support reliable service, even in the event of a power outage.
Rehabilitating Well 2 to support a safe, reliable water supply.
Replacing fire hydrants and valves for public safety.
Additionally, BWC has invested $0.70M in water main replacements since the last rate case.
These improvements help ensure the local water system remains resilient and capable of serving our community well into the future.
We encourage you to share your thoughts and learn more about the rate change request. Here are ways to get involved:
