Some of our Midlands crew spent the day making significant repairs to a northeast Columbia homeowner's home and yard, while partnering with Home Works of America. The resident happens to be a customer!
Below is a list of all that our hard-working employees did, while serving our community:
• Replaced or repaired soffit and fascia in damaged areas.
• Soft-washed the exterior.
• Painted exterior wood as needed.
• Overlayed or replaced 3-1/2” T-111 sheets on the back of the home (4” reveal).
• Blew leaf debris off the roof.
• Trimmed tree limbs away from the house.
• Cut and rounded the mimosa tree at the right-side fence.
• Painted the concrete porch floor dark brown.
• Replaced the back deck.
• Painted front porch framework black.
• Reattached vinyl siding on the left side of the home.
All employees of South Carolina Water Utilities are encouraged to give some of their time to the community each year.
