Eastwood Forest - Power Outage and BWA RESCINDED

Please be advised that the previously issued boil advisory has been rescinded. It is no longer necessary for customers to boil water for human consumption (including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation)

Again, the boil advisory has been rescinded, and you no longer must boil your water.

This is a courtesy message from Carolina Water Service Inc of North Carolina, your local water provider for the Eastwood Forest Subdivision at 1-800-525-7990. This message is to advise Customers of a Boil Advisory in your area.

Due to the loss of power in the neighborhood, a Boil Advisory is in effect because of the drop in water pressure which may increase the potential for back siphonage and the introduction of bacteria into the water system. As a precautionary measure, once water is restored consumers boil all water used for human consumption (including, drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation) or bottled water is advised. The North Carolina Division of Water Resources Public Water Supply Section has been contacted concerning this event.

Vigorous boiling for one minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water.

Customers will be notified by a second phone notification message once the Boil Advisory has been rescinded.
